Buy and activate
Shoji is a one-time purchase: no subscription, and every feature is included. A license works on one Mac at a time, or two with the two-Mac license. Shoji needs an active license to arrange your windows.
Click Get Shoji on the website. Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, which takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT for your country, and emails you a receipt with your license key.
After paying you land on a thank-you page with your key, a Download Shoji button and an Activate in Shoji button.
Activate
Section titled “Activate”Either:
- On the thank-you page, click Activate in Shoji. Your Mac asks to open Shoji; Shoji opens with the key filled in. Click Activate.
- Or open Shoji, click Activate in the menu bar panel (or Settings › License › Enter Key…), paste the key from your email and click Activate.
Your windows start tiling straight away. If you’ve just finished the welcome tour, Tidy My Workspace opens the activation window first.
Move to a new Mac
Section titled “Move to a new Mac”A license is for one Mac (two with the two-Mac license). To move it:
- On the old Mac, open Settings › License and click Deactivate….
- On the new Mac, enter your key.
If the old Mac is gone (sold, broken, wiped), write to [email protected] from the email address you bought with, and we’ll free your key.
Offline
Section titled “Offline”Shoji checks your key with Dodo Payments once a day. If your Mac is offline, nothing changes: Shoji keeps working. Only a key that was refunded or turned off stops it.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”Within 7 days of buying, write to [email protected] for a full refund. The refunded key stops working at Shoji’s next check. See the Refund Policy and the Terms.
What’s sent
Section titled “What’s sent”Only your license key, the ID of this Mac’s activation and the word “Mac” go to Dodo Payments, when you activate, once a day to check, and when you deactivate. Never your computer’s name, your windows, your apps or how you use your Mac. See Privacy.
