Clean Space
Sharing your screen or presenting? Clean Space shows the window you want on a plain background, with nothing else on that screen in view.
Turn it on
Section titled “Turn it on”Press ⌃⌥P, or turn on Clean Space in the menu bar panel.
- The screen you’re working on closes around the active window, like sliding screens, and that window fills it.
- Everything else on that screen goes behind the plain background. Nothing is hidden, moved or closed.
- Windows you bring to that screen share it with the one showing.
- Your other screens stay exactly as they are.
With no window active, the screen under the pointer is made plain, and whatever you open there next shows on it.
While it’s on, a small mark appears on the Shoji icon in the menu bar.
Turn it off
Section titled “Turn it off”Press ⌃⌥P again, or turn off the switch in the panel. Everything is back where it was.
It also turns off by itself when your Mac sleeps or locks, or that screen is disconnected.
Background
Section titled “Background”Pick the background in Settings → General → Clean Space: Graphite (the default), Mist or Stone.
